The Westwinds Community Band is always looking for new members. Our
band is composed of the following instruments:

Flute/Piccolo
Oboe
Bassoon
Clarinet
Alto, Bass, and Contrabass Clarinet
Alto, Tenor, and Baritone Saxophone
Trumpet
French Horn
Trombone
Baritone Horn or Euphonium
Tuba
String Bass
Concert Percussion (including Timpani and Mallet instruments)

Our members are mostly musicians who played their instrument in high school
or college bands. Several also played music professionally. Adult
beginning players are occasionally recommended through local private
instructors when they have achieved an adequate skill level to
participate in a performing ensemble.
